Agriculture and fishery resources are also in abundance in Caribbean countries. China is currently working very actively to enlarge agriculture and fishery cooperation with Caribbean countries. Since 2003, many Chinese companies pioneered by Xintian International Economic and Technological Cooperation Corporation and China National Fishery Corporation have sent study groups to build contacts and discuss projects with their Caribbean counterparts. Caribbean countries are particularly interested in China’s scientific and technological advancement in agriculture and related sectors. To further promote China-Caribbean agriculture and fishery cooperation and intensify two-way exchanges, the Seminar on China-Caribbean Agriculture and Fishery Cooperation will be held on the afternoon of September 8 at the International Conference Hall, 2F, Lingyun Pavilion, Xiamen Mandarin Hotel. |
