2007-09-05 14:53

Caribbean countries are endowed with abundant tourism resources. Tourism is the pillar industry of many Caribbean nations. Meanwhile, China now ranks among the top 10 exporters of tourists and the fastest-growing one, with a total outbound tourist traffic of over 34 million person times in 2006. The World Tourism Organization and World Bank project China to be the world’s largest recipient and fourth largest exporter of tourists by 2020. Hence, China and Caribbean countries will have a bright future for tourism cooperation. And for this purpose, the Seminar on China-Caribbean Tourism Cooperation will be held on the afternoon of September 8 at Banquet Hall, 1F, Lingyun Pavilion, Xiamen Mandarin Hotel.
