| Guyanan Government and Enterprises Actively Participate in The China-Caribbean Economic and Trade Cooperation Forum |

| Organizing efforts are underway for registering Guyanan government officials and business people to attend the forum. The Guyanan Cabinet has officially approved the dispatch of a high-level government delegation to the forum, and encourages the participation of local enterprises. Offery Dasio, Director of Guyanan Investment Bureau says that the forum will open hard-won business opportunities to Guyanan and the Bureau will actively organize business representatives to attend the forum and the Entrepreneurs’ Conference. On a similar note, he says that through participation in the China International Fair for Investment and Trade in Xiamen, Guyana is now more aware of the enormous potential in China-Guyana economic and trade cooperation. The two timber manufacturers he brought to Xiamen both received orders at that Fair. |
