| At the invitation of the Government of the United States of Mexico, Vice President David Waisman Rjavinsthi of the Republic of Peru, Vice President José Vicente Rangel Vale of the Bolivar Republic of Venezuela, Prime Minister Patrick Manning of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago and the Government of Jamaica, Vice President Zeng Qinghong of the People’s Republic of China will pay official visits to the aforesaid five countries from January 23rd to February 3rd. During his visit to Jamaica, Vice President Zeng Qinghong will also attend the Opening Ceremony of the first Ministerial-level Conference of the China-Caribbean Economic and Trade Cooperation Forum 2005 on February 2nd in Kingston, the Capital of Jamaica. Vice President Zeng Qinghong’s attendance to the opening ceremony demonstrates the importance that the government of P.R.China attaches to the forum and the sincere willingness of China to further enlarge cooperation with Caribbean countries on the basis of mutual benefit. |
