Wang Chao Respectively Met with Trinidad and Tobago, Jamaica and Haiti Guests

On Sep. 6th, Wang Chao, assistant minister of the MOFCOM, respectively met with Parellon, secretary of Trade and Industry of Trinidad and Tobago, Mcnish, minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade of Jamaica and Dusai, Minister of Industrial and Commercial Department and Deladuer, Minsiter of Tourism of Haiti.
Wang Chao, gave his welcome to them leading delegations to China to take part in the Second China-Caribbean Economic and Trade Cooperation Forum and the Eleventh China International Fair for Investment and Trade (CIFIT), and exchanged opinions on bilateral economic and trade cooperation between China-Trinidad and Tobago, China-Jamaica and China-Haiti.
Parellon expressed that the government of Trinidad and Tobago has constantly insisted on “One China” policy and determined to establish an ambassador in Beijing. Upon the consensus of two sides, both nations should further strengthen their cooperation in the fields such as agriculture and tourism.
Mcnish expressed, the government of Jamaica attached great importance on the relation with China, although a new government had been organized through the election a few days ago, the friendly relation with China would not be changed. Wang Chao gave high appreciation on it. Both sides expressed to enlarge their trade and investment cooperation continuously.
At the end of the meeting, Investment and Promotion Bureau of the MOFCOM and Trade and Investment Office of Jamaica have signed Bilateral Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation.
While meeting the Minister of Haiti, Wang Chao expressed that there was great potentiality on economic and trade cooperation between China and Haiti, hoping to realize normalization of the relationship between two nations soon, in order to create better environment for economic and trade cooperation. Two ministers of Haiti all expressed their expectation to have cooperation with China, hoping China could expand its investment to Haiti.
