Bilateral trade
According to the statistics of China Customs, the bilateral trade volume in 2006 stood at USD 4.083 million, up 49.7% year-on-year. Among them, China export reached USD 4.064 million, up 49% and import reached USD19700, up 1572%. The bilateral trade volume during the first half of 2007 achieved USD1.394 million, up 24.6% over the same period of 2006. Among them, China export reached USD1.393 million, up 24.6% and import reached USD20,000, up 320.2%. The main products exported from China to Grenada include woodwork, rubber and electromechanical products.
Economic cooperation for mutual benefit
MOFCOM statistics indicated that by the end of June 2007 Chinese enterprises had accomplished a turnover of USD36.62 million from the porject engineering and labor service cooperation wiht Grenada. The actual investment from Grenada to China totaled USD800,000 and no direct investment from China to Grenada yet. |
